New Tylenol Products 2010 Recall For Johnson & Johnson – It seems that Johnson & Johnson doesn’t have a product on the market that isn’t subject to mass recalls.
The company has recently announced that they are recalling nearly 9.3 million bottles of three different types of Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom liquids in order to change the labeling on the products.
McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit recently said that the products were not being recalled because of adverse events, or any problem with the product itself. They were simply changing the label in order to update the amount of alcohol, which is less than 1%, that is in the medicine, and put this on the front of the packaging. As of now, the alcohol is listed as an inactive ingredient on the back of the packaging and bottles.
The products that are being recalled are Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Daytime 8oz Citrus Burst Liquid, Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Severe 8oz Cool Burst Liquid, and Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom Nighttime 8oz Cool burst Liquid.
This is one of many recalls that Johnson & Johnson has announced in the past year. So far there have been over 135 million bottles of children’s medicines that were recalled due to manufacturing deficiencies.
