Dr. Marilyn Glenville suggested that most people do not have enough variation in their diet. Even those that eat properly tend to stick to the same foods, which at times may defeat the purpose. She suggested that people should “eat as many different colors as possible,” and went on to say that your daily diet should resemble a rainbow.
The diet is heavy on protein. Poultry, fish and nuts are all great sources of protein. The only breads that are outlined in the diet are whole grain, and all of the foods in the diet contain more omega 3, which helps control inflammation of the arteries.
